The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has launched a new five-year Integrated MBA program, comprising a BBA in Analytics Honors and an MBA in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Offered by the School of Management, this initiative positions IIT Mandi as the first IIT to introduce such a course. The program is designed to provide students with a robust foundation in management, coupled with specialized skills in analytics, data science, mathematics, and statistics, through a meticulously crafted curriculum.
The Integrated MBA program aims to produce future business leaders who are well-versed in technology and possess cross-functional management capabilities. It offers a unique opportunity for students to earn a master’s degree in management immediately after completing their 10+2 education at a prestigious institute. The program emphasizes practical learning through industrial internships, training, and exposure to diverse business environments, fostering socially conscious leaders with a strong appreciation for technology and human values.
Students enrolled in the program will participate in two industry internships, one lasting six months, providing significant exposure to real-world business scenarios. Additionally, the program encourages entrepreneurial aspirations by offering access to IIT Mandi’s incubation center, allowing students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career path. This new offering provides young aspirants a direct avenue to pursue a comprehensive management education right after their higher secondary schooling.
